A Pudsey pub has come up smelling of roses after being crowned as the winner of the Pudsey in Bloom Pubs Competition.
The summer round of the Yorkshire in Bloom competition took place recently and judges were asked to present a prize to the Fleece at Fartown.
The prize, which was donated by the Pudsey Civic Society and included a book on the history of Pudsey Pubs, was presented to the Fleece landlord, Paul Lorryman, for having the tidiest gardens and the most colourful displays.
Others who entered included the King's Arms, the Stroom, the Fox and Grapes and the Butcher's Arms.
