A HISTORIC Burton landmark brought back from the brink of ruin, an ‘iconic’ converted public lavatory and a pioneering community park feature among Burton Civic Society’s 2009 design awards.
The winning projects, announced at the society’s annual general meeting last night, are recognised for high standards of design and their role in making Burton a more attractive place to live and work.
