There will be a ballot among the 922 civic societies registered with the Civic Society Initiative for six of the trustees. The ballot will be conducted in late March/early April and the results announced before the public launch of Civic Voice on 17 April in London.
Prior to the vote, a nominations committee will review all the applications against the desired skills and experience for trustees. They will indicate those candidates which they believe provide the best match on the ballot form. Details of the ballot and the nominations committee members are available on the link below.
We look forward to receiving your completed application and personal statement. This must arrive by 14 March at the latest. We will let you know the outcome of your application as soon as possible and in advance of the public launch of Civic Voice in central London on Saturday 17 April. We hope successful candidates will be able to attend this launch and there is further information on the website.
Please contact Tony Burton, Director, Civic Society Initiative on tony.burton@civicsocietyinitiative.org.uk or 020 7981 2881 if you want an informal discussion.
