Civic society visits to partner towns are not a new phenomenon. Many civic societies have been travelling to other parts of the country as part of society social calendars and we are that it is something civic societies will long continue to do.
During the past few months, the Civic Society Initiative has been contacted by a number of civic societies wanting to be part of a network that makes it easier for them to get in touch with other groups when discussing policy, case studies, or when planning a visit to a different town. Although the avenue is always available to give out contact details and allow you to contact a society directly to see if they would be interested in a like minded trip, we thought, to make life a little easier, that we should dedicate a page to all civic societies who are happy to work with other groups in arranging exchange visits. * If you would like your civic society to be added to this list email admin@civicsocietyinitiative.org.uk
